At the halfway point you come to a nice pool with plenty of fish in it which is suitable for swimming and then at the end you come to a large plunge pool. There wasn't a lot of water flowing over the falls so the water in the plunge pool had a small amount of algae growing off the rock entries. We had a quick swim because we were very hot and sweaty but it was no where near as inviting as the pools we swam in at El Questro the day before.
After the walk we returned to camp and had some lunch before venturing back down to the township, where we purchased some Wi-Fi so Alyssa could check her school work and I could do some uploading.
Clare and Trent had a swim in the stations swimming hole just behind the Steakhouse.
We really enjoyed our time here at El Questro and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting. For Clare and I the highlight was the walk into El Questro Gorge and getting the place all to ourselves for 15 minutes or so, unforgettable.
Clare, Alyssa and Trent really enjoyed the horse ride and the atmosphere down at the township of an evening was great, whether it be the live music, trivia night or the Hop Thief.
